Junior Tennis Clubnight Information

Junior Tennis Club nights will restart Friday 28th October.

Parents Roster – 2011 2012 Junior Club Night Roster

Due to numbers this year and in order to meet the requirements of the breadth of ages and tennis abilities we have altered the format for the Friday Junior Club Nights. In particular, we are hoping that the revised format will encourage greater numbers of our older/more advanced juniors to attend club nights.

There will be two sessions

Session 1 5-6.30pm

Minimum age is 8 years and this will include players up to and including Year 6 and C, D & Novice interclub teams in this age bracket.

5-6pm coaching run by Transtasman. Groups will be ability based.

6-6.30pm organized matches

6.30pm finish

In order to maximize match playing time there will not be a break and sausage sizzle. Players in this session will not be able to play in the second session.

Session 2 -6.30-8.00pm (6.15pm sign in for 6.30pm start)

Older and more experienced players

ie Year 7 and above OR B grade interclub and above

Structured match play against ability, competitions.

Players who will be moving into Year 7 in 2012 may come to the second session when club nights recommence in February.

Duties

One interclub team will be rostered for each session.

Session 1

Parents of C, D and Novice interclub teams who fall into the age bracket of the first session will be rostered in this session. As there are insufficient interclub team parents to cover each Friday we require parents of non-interclub players attending this session to assist.

For more information on this session please contact

Session 2

Parents of interclub teams who fit the criteria of the second session will be rostered to cover the second session and run the BBQ 6.30-8pm.

Cancellations

These will be placed on the club website www.ktsc.org.nz and a message left on the Transtasman answer phone.

We hope there will be plenty of fine weather over the season and look forward to seeing you all at the first club night FRIDAY 28 OCTOBER.
