This is a social squash event that runs for 7 weeks on Thursday nights. You enter as an individual player, but we arrange everyone into teams – and each week you get to play someone of a similar level from another team. All games are held at the Khandallah courts, as this is an in-house competition.

This is a fun event, and is a great way to meet other players and get some regular games. We also open this up to non-members too, so if you have friends who would like to give squash a go for a few weeks then encourage them to enter too.

Each week there’s a supper, quiz and prize giving, as well as a few extra team activities.

For those who played in the last 2 editions of inner club, we’ll be keeping the same format with 4 ‘super’ teams.

1. Regular Saturday / Sunday Interclub Competition
2. Regional Elite Friday Night Competition

The ‘Regional Elite Friday Night Competition’ will have both a boys and girls grade and is open to boys with a ranking of S9 and above and girls S10 and above.  Games will be played outdoors at the Renouf Centre on a Friday afternoon/early evening.  Teams will consist of 2 players and you will each play a singles and then a doubles game.  You can choose to play in the Friday or the Saturday competition. The entering of a team in this competition will be dependent on numbers. If you wish to play in the regular competition if an Elite Team can not be made up please also register for Saturday/Sunday interclub as well. 

These are the key dates for this season:

Sunday 10 September – Khandallah Tennis Open Day (1-5pm)
- Great opportunity for players of all levels to come to the club, and find out more about membership and interclub. Evolve coaching staff will be on hand to give some tips, and BBQ will be running. Friends and family welcome!

Sunday 24 September – Season Opening Day at the Club
- Meet your team/have a hit with your team/ handout of gear (times tba)
- Team manager’s briefing.

October 28th – December 10th: Pre Christmas season
- Weekend of December 16th is the reserve rain weekend

February 3rd 2018 – March 25th 2018: Post Christmas Season
- Weekend of March 31 is the reserve rain weekend

What do I need to do to play junior interclub tennis

• You must be a current member of the Khandallah Tennis and Squash Club.
• You must complete the online form below & submit payment by SUNDAY 10 SEPTEMBER.
• You should be able to rally and serve (Novice grades may do a “bounce and hit” serve).
• You should be available to practice with your team once a week.
• You must comply with the rules and Code of Conduct of junior interclub tennis.

When do I play?

• Regional Elite – Boys and Girls: Friday night
  
• Regional 1 & 2 – Boys and Girls: Saturday from 9.00am
• A, B, C and D Grades – Boys and Girls: Sunday from 9.00am
• Novice Boys and mixed: Sunday from 9.00am
• Novice Girls: Saturday from 9.00am

How much does it cost to play junior interclub?

• $30 per player – this covers the Tennis Central team registration fees and balls. This cost has been subsidised by the generous sponsorship from Khandallah New World. Note this is separate to actual KTSC membership.
