Friday Community Play

Join us on Friday afternoons for Community Play — an easy, affordable way for kids to get on court, have some fun and enjoy tennis with friends.
Run by our coaching partners at Evolve Tennis Coaching, Community Play is all about getting kids active in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Sessions include fun tennis games and activities suitable for a range of ages and abilities, so children don’t need any previous tennis experience to join in.

And it’s not just about the tennis. After the session, kids and families are welcome to head upstairs to the Club Lounge, where Hell Pizza and ice blocks are available to purchase. The bar opens from 5pm, with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available — making Community Play a great way for the whole family to ease into the weekend.

Friends are very welcome too, and we can provide racquets for anyone who needs one.

Community Play Passes
Community Play has previously been heavily subsidised through external grant funding. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to secure that funding for this season, so we've made a small change to the way the programme is priced. Our aim is to help cover the cost of delivering the sessions while keeping Community Play affordable and accessible for families.
This season, families can choose the option that works best for them, whether you're planning to come most Fridays or just drop in occasionally. Importantly, under 5's remain free.

For regular Community Play families, a Term or Season Pass offers the best value — attend more than three sessions in a term and your Term Pass has already paid for itself. We encourage families who expect to come regularly to purchase a pass online in advance (register below). It makes Friday check-in quick and easy, helps us plan coaching numbers and court space, and means you can simply turn up and play each week. Passes can also be purchased at the check-in desk on Fridays.
