Tennis

Khandallah Tennis & Squash Club is one of Wellington's largest and most active tennis clubs, with seven outdoor courts including four lit courts, active interclub teams, and coaching delivered in partnership with Evolve Tennis Coaching.

Whether you're picking up a racquet for the first time, returning after a break, or looking for competitive play — there's a pathway here for you. Social Club Days, Club Champs, interclub competition, and regular tournaments mean there are plenty of ways to get involved and find your game. And if you're new and not sure where to start, we'll get you connected — into a member WhatsApp group, onto a court, and into a regular hit before you know it.

Our junior programme is one of the strongest in Wellington. Led by Head Coach Thomas Morley, Tennis Capital and Coast's Coach of the Year for 2025/26, it runs from first-contact participation right through to high-performance competition. KTSC juniors are active across regional interclub and the club hosts three junior tournaments a year, run by Evolve Tennis Coaching. One of the highlights of the junior calendar is our Waitangi Day Parent & Child Tournament — a fun format that levels the playing field and gives everyone a genuine shot at glory, even against some of the best players in the club.

We also run Community Play sessions open to the public — a relaxed, fun introduction to tennis aimed at kids roughly aged 5 to 10. No experience needed, just turn up and have a go.

Get in touch or come along to a Club Day — we'll take it from there.
