Waitangi Day Tournament (Tennis)

Join us for one of KTSC’s most loved traditions — our annual Waitangi Day Parent–Child Tournament! This fun, family-focused event brings generations together on court for a day of tennis, teamwork, and plenty of laughs.

With simple formats, friendly match-ups, and a community vibe that makes this day truly special, it’s the perfect way to celebrate Waitangi Day at the Club.

Entry Fee & Bring-a-Plate
Entry is $15 per pair,  We’d also love everyone to bring a plate to share.. It’s a lovely way to add to the relaxed, family feel of the day and makes sure there’s plenty for everyone to enjoy between matches.

Waitangi Day Tournament, Friday 6 February 2026

We’re excited to welcome families back for one of our favourite traditions on the KTSC calendar — the Waitangi Day Parent–Child Tournament! It’s a fun, relaxed day that brings generations together on court, celebrates the spirit of the Club, and creates plenty of memorable moments.


We’re completely open to your interpretation of “parent” and “child” — this event is all about connection, not definitions. Grandparents, aunties, uncles, older siblings, caregivers, family friends, or any special grown-up/kid duo are all welcome. I


Whether you’re defending a title, giving it a go for the first time, or just keen for a great day out with your superstar kid, we’d love to see you there. Please complete the form below to enter.
