Working from home? Have flexible hours? Or maybe you used to love tennis or squash and miss that satisfying thwack of the ball? Now’s your chance to get back on court — without needing to commit to a membership.

We’re excited to introduce Pay to Play at Khandallah Tennis & Squash Club. Between 9:30 AM and 3 PM on weekdays, you can book a court online, pay a casual rate ($20 an hour), and enjoy a game of tennis, squash, or even pickleball — no membership required!

About the Club

Nestled under the hills of Khandallah, our Club is one of Wellington’s most vibrant racquets communities. We’re home to seven outdoor tennis courts, four squash courts, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that’s all about keeping people active, connected, and having fun.

Try tennis, squash… or pickleball!

Whether you’re getting back into tennis, want to dust off your squash skills, or are curious about pickleball (the world’s fastest-growing sport), you’re welcome to give it a go. We even have pickleball racquets and balls for loan.

How it works

It’s easy:

1. Visit Hello Club

2. Choose a time between 9:30 AM and 3 PM (weekdays only)

3. Book, pay online, and head down for your hit

Members continue to book as usual (no charge), while casual players can now make the most of our facilities with this new, flexible, pay-as-you-play option.

Why we’re introducing Pay to Play

Our courts are often quieter during the day, and we know there are plenty of locals who’d love the freedom to play on their own terms — especially those working from home or looking to fit sport into their day. Pay to Play is our way of opening the gates and inviting you to rediscover the joy of racquet sports at your own pace.

Once you’ve experienced KTSC, we think you’ll want to stick around! Members enjoy year-round access to all courts between the hours of 6am and 10.30pm, awesome club events, and our modern lounge and licensed bar — complete with below-retail drink prices and a welcoming social scene!

So come down for a casual hit and maybe fall in love with tennis, squash, or pickleball all over again. Who knows — you might just decide to make it official and join the Club!
