Tennis

Whether you are picking up a racquet for the first time, returning to the game after years away, or looking for competitive tennis opportunities, Khandallah Tennis & Squash Club offers a welcoming and vibrant tennis community for all ages and abilities.

With seven outdoor courts (including four lit courts), a strong coaching programme, active social and interclub competitions, and a thriving junior environment, KTSC is one of Wellington’s largest and most active tennis clubs. From social Club Days and beginner-friendly sessions through to interclub and tournament play, there are opportunities to play tennis your way.

Our tennis community is built around connection, participation and enjoyment. Many members join not knowing anyone and quickly find themselves part of regular social hits, competitive teams, member WhatsApp groups and Club events. Whether you are looking for social tennis, structured coaching with our partners, Evolve Tennis Coaching, competitive matches or simply a fun and active community, we would love to help you get involved.

KTSC proudly partners with Evolve Tennis Coaching to deliver high-quality coaching programmes for juniors and adults, from grassroots participation through to high-performance development pathways.

Tennis Club Days

Our Tennis Club Days are a relaxed and welcoming way to enjoy some social tennis, meet other players and get connected into the KTSC community. Open to both members and non-members, everyone is welcome.

Senior Interclub

KTSC offers tennis interclub opportunities across both summer and winter. Interclub is a great way to improve your game, meet other members and be part of the Club community.

Junior Interclub

Junior summer interclub is a fantastic way for young players to develop their game, build confidence and enjoy being part of a team. KTSC enters teams across a range of ages and abilities, with a strong focus on participation, development and having fun.

Community Play in terms 1 and 4 is a fun, welcoming and low-pressure way for young children and families to get active, try tennis in a fun and playful way.

Love Tennis

Love Tennis is our annual open day and a great opportunity to give tennis a go, meet members and coaches, and experience the welcoming community atmosphere at KTSC. Open to all ages and abilities, everyone is welcome.!

Waitangi Day Parent & Child Tournament

Our annual Parent-Child Tournament is one of the Club’s favourite traditions — a fun and relaxed day bringing families together on court for plenty of laughs, friendly competition and great Club atmosphere.

Midweek tennis at KTSC offers a relaxed and social daytime playing opportunity, particularly popular with our older members. It is a great way to stay active, enjoy regular tennis and connect with others in a friendly Club environment.

Junior Club Champs

Junior Club Champs are a highlight of the junior tennis calendar, giving young players the opportunity to test themselves in a fun and supportive tournament environment while representing the Club and cheering on their friends.

Senior Club Champs

Senior Club Champs are one of the premier events on the KTSC calendar, bringing members together for a great mix of competitive tennis, Club spirit and community atmosphere across singles and doubles events.
